Natural Ventilation

Ventilation in buildings important because it provides occupants with a healthy and comfortable environment. Natural ventilation goes one step further, using the forces of wind and buoyancy to help air move naturally through a building, rather than expensive energy intensive fans to push air around.

Research, carried out by the Carbon Trust, found that the majority of buildings that utilised natural ventilation saved between 24 per cent and 71 per cent of carbon emissions.
