Form Endüstri Tesisleri shared the results of the 2023-2024 Corporate Carbon Footprint Report, which reveals its determination and efforts to achieve its sustainability goals. According to the report, Form Endüstri Tesisleri generated more energy than the energy consumed in 2023 thanks to the Solar Energy System (SPP) investment made at the end of 2022 and took important steps to reduce carbon footprint emissions. As a result of these efforts, the average monthly emission amount in 2023 was reduced by 34.7 percent compared to the previous year. In addition, with the SPP investment, emissions from electricity use were significantly reduced.
In 2023, carbon emission values reduced to one-third of 2022
With the GES investment made at the end of 2022, 18,791.46 kWh more than the energy consumed in 2023 was produced, and carbon emissions from electricity use were zeroed. Thanks to the electric forklift investment made in 2023, mobile combustion emissions were reduced by 27 percent.
Taking into account the data for 2022, the company decided to reduce business travel and increased the number of online meetings. As a result of these strategic decisions, carbon emissions from business travel in 2023 were reduced to one-third of the level of 2022, significantly reducing emission emissions.
