Continuous Rooflight B
Effect: Integrated suspension under the panel bar in the mounting frame (DTC spring) ensures that the polycarbonate panel is perfectly tensioned. Therefore, it can withstand is fixed in position with a certain holding force even when exposed.
Benefits: Any acting load is best handled by the mounting frame
damped and absorbed, the panel remains perfectly taut and stable in any situation.
Effect: Active Expansion Absorber compensates for tension and expansion under load. This is achieved through a continuous, slip-resistant connection between the seals and cover strips.
Benefits: Optimization of the structure in case of snow, ice, wind and extreme heat build-up.
protection.
Impact: The Isothermal Load Converter redirects the load from the Rooflight B skylight to the substructure. This frees the base profile from loads and stresses so that no metal material is required. This allows the use of high-quality composite with excellent thermal insulation values for the base profile.
Benefits: Isothermal Load Converter (ITL), continuously operating throughout the structure achieves optimized isothermal lines and prevents thermal bridges.
Effect: In most cases, the roof membrane, attached to a substructure such as a frame, is pulled into the elevation and passed under the base profile of the skylight. In the event of a fire inside the building, the roof membrane on the inside of the elevation often catches fire and tends to burn like a “fuse” to the outside of the roof. Linear Combustion Protection can be understood as an intelligent system that restricts the spread of fire at roof penetrations. The skylight profile plays an important role: It is made of a thermoplastic composite that softens at elevation at high temperatures and spreads directly over the burred edge of the roof membrane. This process seals the burning joints, cuts off the oxygen supply and extinguishes the flames in the area.
Benefits: LBP prevents flames from spreading across the roof. Although it softens at high temperatures, the base profile remains stable during a fire because it is cooled and reinforced by the metal profile of the panel batten.
Optimized isothermal lines
In LAMILUX Rooflight B, the 10°C isothermal line extends consistently throughout the entire structure. Our guarantee Minimizing the risk of condensation forming on the inside of the structure.
Comprehensive thermal protection technology throughout the entire structure, the European approved LAMILUX Rooflight B guarantees the best Uw values. Energy efficiency features according to ETAG 010
tested and verified accordingly. This ensures that the consistent insulation properties of the skylight profile are documented. In the case of an order, the Uw values are calculated on a cost-neutral basis and this calculation is confirmed by a quality certificate.
