Silicone-free EPDM seals with a non-slip coating are used to ensure optimum air and water tightness. Furthermore, the roller shutter window is equipped with a drainage system that prevents water from accumulating in the base area to prevent water ingress.
The AIRSTREAM roller shutter window offers slat heights ranging from 150 mm to 400 mm. In addition, a clamping depth of up to 32 mm can be selected. The slats can be easily replaced and renewed.
AIRSTREAM louvered windows are available with different glazing options: You can choose between double or triple insulating glass, aluminum sandwich glass or polycarbonate multilayer sheets. For insulating glass, thermal or solar protection glass and ESG/VSG are also possible, depending on requirements. In addition, all versions are tested for sound insulation and weather resistance according to EN 14351-1 and flame retardant glass can also be selected. Glass versions are available in 24 mm and 32 mm.
The AIRSTREAM roller shutter window is installed in a wall or facade with a thermally separated aluminum frame to comply with GEG 2020. It can be mounted on stud and sleeper systems, lightweight walls, solid walls, sandwich facades or even old window frames, making it extremely flexible. All slats, mechanical parts and drives are easily accessible and easy to replace, making it a true survivor.
