Crown Bevcan Turkey, a subsidiary of the European beverage division of Crown Holdings Inc., one of the world’s leading packaging and packaging companies, has taken an important step towards energy efficiency and sustainability at its factory in Izmit. The factory preferred the AIRSTAR natural ventilation system, which was sold and designed by Form Endüstri Tesisleri. Thanks to AIRSTAR, 450 MWh of electricity was saved annually and 221,440 tons of carbon emissions were prevented. This saving process allowed the product to amortize its cost in 1.5 years.
